We are delighted to announce the launch of travel grants, investigator talks, and the call for poster abstracts for VALIDATE's 7th Annual Meeting, taking place 29 September - 1 October 2025 near Cape Town, South Africa. The meeting will showcase cutting-edge vaccine research on Mycobacteria, Melioidosis, and Leishmaniasis, as well as provide an invaluable opportunity to network with leading researchers worldwide.
Travel Grants
VALIDATE is pleased to offer travel grants of up to £3,000 for LMIC members attending the 2025 Annual Meeting (and ECR Workshop, if applicable). These grants aim to help broaden participation and facilitate valuable networking opportunities. To apply, please consult the Annual Meeting Travel Grants guidance document, complete the application form in full, and submit all required materials to VALIDATE@ndm.ox.ac.uk by 10 February 2025 @16:00 GMT.
Poster Abstracts
The Annual Meeting's Poster Session provides an excellent platform to highlight significant work on Mycobacteria, Melioidosis, and Leishmaniasis, while engaging directly with peers and leading experts in these research areas. To submit a poster abstract, download and complete the Poster Abstract Application Form, then email it to VALIDATE@ndm.ox.ac.uk by 10 February 2025 @16:00 GMT. Submitting a poster abstract can also strengthen your Travel Grant application, so we encourage all eligible researchers to take advantage of this opportunity.
Research Talk Abstracts
VALIDATE Investigator members are invited to apply to present a research talk at the 2025 Annual Meeting. Presenting your work is a valuable chance to discuss your findings with a global audience, garner feedback, and establish new collaborations. To apply, fill out the Research Talk Abstract Application Form and send it to VALIDATE@ndm.ox.ac.uk by 10 February 2025 @16:00 GMT. The VALIDATE Network Management Board will competitively review the submissions, and applicants will be notified of the decisions shortly after their March meeting.

Travel Grants
Travel grant applications (up to £3,000 for LMIC members) and poster abstracts must be submitted by 10 February 2025 @16:00 GMT. The VALIDATE Network Management Board will competitively review both.
We encourage investigator members to apply for research talk abstracts by the same 10 February deadline. Successful applicants will be notified following the Board's March meeting.
