The interviews offer a chance to hear directly from fellow researchers about being part of our international community, as you consider attending next year.
Meet the Members
Dr Juan Dib – Fundación Salud para el Trópico and Universidad del Norte, Colombia. Juan works on the prevention and control of infectious diseases, including tuberculosis and leishmaniasis, with indigenous communities in rural and remote areas of Colombia.
Breno Pimenta – Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Breno researches new approaches to tackling leishmaniasis, including vaccine design and treatments that harness the immune system.
Dr Chinedu Iwu – Imo State University Teaching Hospital, Nigeria. Chinedu is a public and community health physician whose work includes improving vaccine uptake in underserved populations, with a particular interest in maternal and infant vaccination.
Dr Hina Raza – Bahauddin Zakariya University, Pakistan. Hina is a vaccinologist and pharmaceutics researcher whose work focuses on mucosal immunology, vaccine development and innovative vaccine delivery systems.
