Three speakers will share their career journeys and how they have applied their skills in different settings:
Dr Connie Nshemereirwe, Learning Facilitator with Inclusive Innovation and former Director of the Africa Science Leadership Programme, will discuss “Change as a constant”, reflecting on career choices and learning to make peace with uncertainty.
Dr Yaw Bediako, founder and CEO of Yemaachi Biotech and Dean of Research and Innovation at Ashesi University, will share his experience as an immunologist and biotechnology entrepreneur.
Dr One Bridget Dintwe, Senior Director of Clinical Lab Operations and Immunology at IAVI, will offer insights into a career combining scientific expertise with laboratory operations, clinical development and leadership in the non-profit sector.
