VALIDATE Annual Meeting 2027 - Poster and Research Talks Calls

Unlike previous years, VALIDATE will not be offering standalone Travel Grants. However, travel and accommodation funding is still available; it will now be awarded through the Research Talk and Poster Abstract application processes rather than through a separate Travel Grant call. Applications will be reviewed by the VALIDATE Network Management Board (NMB).

Using the portal below, members may apply to:

• Give a Research Talk: VALIDATE Investigator and Associate members based in any country may apply. VALIDATE will cover all travel and subsistence costs to attend the Annual Meeting for successful applicants.
  • You should read the Call Guidance below before completing the application form.
• Present a Poster: This call is open to all VALIDATE members, of any level and based in any country. Travel funding (covering all travel and subsistence costs to attend the Annual Meeting) is available only to successful poster applicants based in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Members based in HICs may still apply to present a poster but will need to cover their own travel and subsistence costs.

NB There is no need to apply for both a talk and a poster for the same topic; if you apply for a talk and are unsuccessful then the NMB will choose whether to invite you to present a poster instead, or that you were not successful for either category.
